I’ve been using this mat for hot vinyasa classes for two weeks now, and the extra weight really keeps it planted on the floor even when I’m dripping sweat. The surface is noticeably more durable than my last mat too—no wear or peeling yet.

My palms usually slide all over the place during vinyasa, but this mat grips even when things get sweaty. It's heavier than my old one, which I actually like since it stays put on the floor. Two months of near-daily practice and no signs of wear yet.

I sweat a lot in hot yoga and this thing doesn't budge an inch, even in a full vinyasa flow. It's heavy to haul to class, but the non-slip grip is worth the extra effort.
